RULES, LAWS & ORDINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 26, 1971
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Narlock. Also present
were Aldermen Foldy and Dumke and Mayor Gottfried.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as mailed.
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend to the Common Council a resolution
concerning a "No Parking" sign on North Shore Drive. Seconded
by Ald. Foldy. Motion by Ald. Foldy. Motion carried.
Ald. Foldy moved to recommend to the Common Council the placement
of a 30 mph speed limit on Lannon Dr, from its southern limits at
Woods Road to the northern limits at Martin Drive. Seconded by
Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
The Committee discussed a suggested amendment to the Subdivision
Control Ordinance by the Public Works Committee providing for a
change in the minimum width of culverrs from the present 12" to 15".
Proposed amendment was referred back to the Public Works Committee
for a more thorough review.
A section of the Landfill Ordinance was once again reviewed by
the Committee.
Ald. Foldy moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 10:40 P.M.
