• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 30, 1970
Chairman Narlock called the meeting to order at 7:45 P.M. Also
present were Aldermen Foldy, Dwyer and Sapp and Mayor Gottfried.
The minutes of the previous meeting held on July 16, 1970, were
approved and placed on file.
The Committee reviewed the following items:
Ordinance #177 - An Ordinance Regulating the Operation of Snowmobiles in
the City of Muskego. Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Perry, W180 57923 Pioneer Dr.
and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Blosser, W191 57458 Richdorf Dr., officials of
the Icetronauts, Local Snowmobile Club, appeared before the Committee
to express their views about the proposed ordinance. Narlock moved
to delete .02 Added Regulations, Para. (2) & (3). Seconded by Foldy.
Motion carried. Section .04, Penalty. The Municipal Code Section Number
should be changed to read 25.04. The Committee deferred action on the
ordinance until the question of "what the city's liability would be if
snowmobiling is allowed in the city parks", is answered by City Attorney
Buckley.
• A notice of a public hearing to adopt rpules prohibiting the discharge
of mercury to the waters of the State of Wisconsin was reviewed and
placed on file.

An order of the Department of Agriculture adopting Chapter AG 120
scales was reviewed and placed on file.
Accessory Buildings Zoning Ordinance Amendment - Foldy moved to repeal
and recreate Municipal Code Sec. 8.01 (7) B.2 which controls the size
and position of accessory buildings on lots of at least 120,000 sq. ft.
and up to and including 400,000 sq. ft. Dwyer seconded. Motion
carried. This action was taken upon the recommendation of the City
Plan Commission.
Dedicated Land Requirements for New Subdivisions - A discussion was
held on the proposed ordinance which will require the subdivider to
provide and dedicate to the public, adequate land to provide for the
school, park and recreation needs of the subdivision. No action was
taken.
Dwyer moved to adjourn. Foldy seconded. Meeting adjourned at 10:30 P.M.
