RLO196909080 RULES, LAWS & ORDINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO • MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 8, 1969 The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman Narlock. Also present were Aldermen Burgermeister and Sapp. • The Minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file. Resolution #55-69, As Amended, was discussed and found to be in order. Ald. Burgermeister moved to suggest to the Common Council that they defer action on Ordinance #147 until the Utility Company representatives have had an opportunity to meet with the Public Works Committee. Seconded by Chm. Narlock. Motion carried. The City of Franklin's Firearms Ordinance was reviewed. It was decided to invite the interested parties to the next meeting of this Committee for further discussion. Ald. Burgermeister moved to instruct Attorney Buckley to draft an 10 ordinance regarding "Additional Rules of the Road" as requested by Chief Kraus in his proposal dated September 4, 1969. Seconded by Ald. Sapp. Motion carried. A letter from the National Institute of Municipal Law Officers dated August 22, 1969 was read and discussed. Ald. Burgermeister will contact Congressman Davis and report back to the Committee at its next meeting. Ald. Burgermeister moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Ald. Sapp. Motion carried.
