RLO19690717RULES, LAWS & ORDINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 17, 1969 The meeting was called to order at 7:45 P.M. by Chairman Narlock. Also •present were Mayor Wieselmann, Aldermen Burgermeister and Sapp and City Engineer Kelsenberg. The minutes of the previous meeting held on July 7, 1969, were reviewed and placed on file. The updating of the Public Water & Beach Ordinance as recommended by Sgt. Kass was discussed. Ald. Burgermeister moved to adopt the amendments to Ch. 20 of the Municipal Code as outlined by City Attorney Buckley, in correspondence dated 7/15/69. Seconded by Ald. Sapp. Motion carried. It was decided that Sgt. Kass and Water Patrolmen Heiden and B'orwne be invited to attend the next meeting of this Committee to discuss these amendments and their enforcement of State Statutes, as well as our City Ordinances relating to water safety. • The Sediment Control Program for the City of Muskego, as suggested by the Little Muskego Lake Association, was again reviewed. A letter from Building Inspector Lee was read and considerable discussion by the Mayor, City Engineer and members of the Committee followed. Ald. Burger- meister offered to attend the next meeting of the Little Muskego Lake Association to discuss the City's position in this matter. It was suggested by Chairman Narlock that we invite Mr. Ron Ford, Association President, to attend one of of our next meetings. Ald. Burgermeister moved that an addition to Ordinance #60 be adopted to establish Section 6.7 entitled "Relief Valves, Hot Water Heating/ Storage Tanks", as proposed by Plumbing Inspector Robb. Seconded by Chairman Narlock. Motion carried. Attorney Buckley's opinion regarding Mother -In -Law Houses was reviewed. Ald. Burgermeister moved to recommend to the Common Council the adoption of the proposed amendment to Section 8.01 (7c) of the Zoning Ordinance covering Mother -In -Law Houses. Seconded by Chairman Narlock. Motion carried. Ald. Burgermeister moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Chairman Narlock. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:50 P.M.
