• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 7, 1969
The meeting was called to order by Acting Chairman Burgermeister. Also
present was Alderman Sapp. The minutes of the previous meeting held on
June 2, 1969 were reviewed and placed on file.
• The Subdivision Control Ordinance and soil erosion was discussed.
Ald. Burgermeister requested that Building Inspector Lee and City
Engineer Kelsenberg be reminded to act according to the Rules, Laws
& Ordinance Committee meeting of June 2, 1969.

Performance Bonds for street excavation contractors was discussed.
Ald. Burgermeister moved to have City Attorney Buckley prepare the
necessary ordinance based on the information supplied by him, excepting
Paragraph 3, which should carry the request that a $5,000.00 Bond be
necessary for any contractors doing repeated excavation within the
City. Seconded by Ald. Sapp. Motion carried.
Ald. Burgermeister moved to re -direct the City Attorney to complete
his findings dated 12/l/68 and 2/25/69 and the rough Resolution #55-69
prepared by the Welfare Committee. Seconded by Ald. Sapp. Motion
carried.
Ald. Burgermeister moved to recommend to the Common Council that the
City accept the offer of the United Church of Christ to least their
facilities on Racine Avenue as a temporary City Hall site. Seconded
by Ald. Sapp. Motion carried.
Ald. Sapp moved to have City Attorney Buckley update the Public
Water and Beach Ordinance, Chapter 20.01, to conform with Wisconsin
State Statutes. Seconded by Ald. Burgermeister. Motion carried.
Walter Patrolmen Heiden and Browne and many citizens appeared to
discuss the Water Ski Show being held at Dandilion Park. After
much discussion regarding the area of the lake being used, the light-
ing for the Ski Jump, the horsepower of the motors, Warden Wood, the
District Conservation Warden, discussed the type of buoys that should
be used and registered with the State.
At the suggestion of Alderman Sapp, Mr. Masterson and Mr. Hohman
remained to discuss some of these problems with the Committee.
Ald. Burgermeister moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Sapp. The
meeting adjourned at 10:00 P.M.
