• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 221 1969
The meeting was called to order at 7:35 P.M. by Chairman Narlock. Also
present were Mayor Wieselmann and Aldermen Burgermeister and Sapp.
The Minutes of the previous meeting held on May 8, 1969 were approved
• and placed on file.
The Committee discussed the proposed ordinance regarding the restoration
of streets, ditches, etc. by private contractors. Mayor Wieselmann advised
the Committee that representatives from all three utility companies had
attended the Public Works Committee meeting held this date,, and that they
are aware that a performance bond may be necessary for any future instal-
lations.
Ald. Burgermeister moved to have "the Committee review the ordinances of
other municipalities as supplied by Attorney Buckley and together with
the Attorney, draft the necessary ordinance. Seconded by Ald. Sapp,
motion carried.
Mr. Ron Ford appeared before the Committee on behalf of the Little
• Muskego Lake Association to present a proposal regarding soil erosion
in the City of Muskego. He proposed the following:
1. That the City incorporate into its Subdivision Control
Ordinance, a developer's responsibility regarding soil
erosion.
2. That the City consult with the Soil Conservation Dept.
regarding better maintenance of the ditches and streams
in the City of Muskego.
Pictures showing examples of soil erosion in our City were shown to
the Committee. Remedies for improvement of'these conditions were dis-
cussed. Mayor Wieselmann sited examples of attempts to rectify some
of these conditions and he also discussed some future plans. He stated
that to rectify these problems in their entirety would be a very expen-
sive program.
Chairman Narlock agreed to have this Committee, along with the Public
Works Committee, study the material supplied and then meet with the
Soil Conservation representatives. He further stated that the Committee
will then prepare the necessary changes in the Subdivision Control
Ordinance. Mayor Wieselmann assured Mr. Ford that these problems will

not be ignored.
Ald. Sapp moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Ald. Burgermeister.
Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:37 P.M.
