RLO19680718RULES, LAWS & ORDINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO • MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 18, 1968 Chairman Narlock called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. Also present were Mayor Wieselmann, Aldermen Burgermeister and Linck and Mr. Gottfried. •The minutes of the July 3, 1968 meeting were approved and will be placed on file. The Buring Permit Ordinance was discussed. Alderman Burgermeister moved to have City Attorney draft an ordinance as suggested by the Chief of Police with changes in Sec. 1, Sub -paragraph "A" and in Paragraph "B", the wind velocity be changed from 5 to 15 miles per hours. Also to issue Permits in 3 classification. Seconded by Ald. Linck, motion carried. The Public Waters Ordinance in regard to placing buoys was discussed. It was agreed to invite Warden Arthur Schroeder to the next Committee meeting. A sample ordinance on abandoned vehicles and vehicles parked for long periods of time was received from Police Chief Kraus. After discussion, Ald. Burgermeister moved to refer ordinance to City Attorney for drafting. Is Seconded by Ald. Linck. Motion carried. Motion by Ald. Burgermeister to rescind sub -paragraph 4-C from T.02 Traffic Code and add sub -paragraph 5-B to T.02 Traffic Code, Hillendale Dr. from S.T.H. 24 to Henneberry Dr. Seconded by Ald. Linck, motion carried. This would increase the speed limit on this section from 35 m.p.h. to 40 m.p.h. Ald. Burgermeister requested to have the problem of no stop signs at Hiawatha Dr. and Forest Dr. referred back to the Public Safety Committee. Ald. Burgermeister requested to have all aldermen receive a copy of the Curfew Ordinance of the City of Brookfield. All Aldermen are invited to the next Committee meeting for discussion on a Curfew Ordinance. Ald. Linck moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Ald. Burgermeister, motion carried.
