RLO19680321RULES, LAWS & ORDINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO • MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 21, 1968 The regular meeting of the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee was called to order by Chairman Wollman at 7:30 P.M. Also present were Alderman Narlock, Alderman Joost and Mayor Gottfried. • The Minutes of the meeting held March 7, 1968, were read and approved and will be placed on file. • An ordinance referring to bicycle registration was read. Some questions are to be answered by the Police Department before action will be taken on this ordinance. An ordinance referring to the possession of Intoxicating Liquors by Minors was read. Alderman Narlock moved to recommend adoption by the Council. Seconded by Alderman Joost. Motion carried. An ordinance referring to Motor Driven Cycles was read. Alderman Narlock moved to recommend adoption by the Council. Seconded by Alderman Joost, motion carried. An ordinance referring to keys being left in unattended automobiles was read. Chairman Wollman moved to recommend adoption by the Council. Seconded by Alderman Narlock. Motion carried. Weight limitation on Class B Highways was discussed. Alderman Joost moved to refer a communication from Attorney Hippenmeyer regarding weight limitations to the Public Works Committee for recommendation. Seconded by Alderman Narlock. Motion carried. Alderman Narlock moved to recommend to the Public Works Department to install traffic warning signs on Field Drive as recommended by the Police Department report. Seconded by Alderman Joost, motion carried. Chairman Wollman moved to recommend to the Public Works Department to post Martin Drive at 35 mph as governed by State Statute 346.57 (4). Seconded by Alderman Narlock. Motion carried. Alderman Narlock moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Alderman Joost. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:45 P.M.
