• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 22, 1968
The regular meeting of the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee was
called to order at 8:30 P.M. by Chairman Wollman. Also present were
Alderman Narlock and Alderman Joost.

• The minutes of the previous/were read and approved and will be placed
on file.
Ordinance #96, an Onen Housing Ordinance, was read by Alderman Joost.
About 25 citizens were in attendance.
Rev. E. Lloyd Haney spoke in favor of the ordinance and reported on
a meeting with the pastors of the City stating that the pastors were
in favor of the ordinance.
Mr. G. Rector questioned the procedures of this Committee.

Also present at the meeting were Mrs. M. Leichtfuss and Mrs. L. Weir®chem.
Letters received by Chairman Wollman referring to open housing were
read.
The proposed Sign Code was discussed. Alderman Narlock moved to
recommend to the Council the adoption of the Sign Code. Seconded
by Alderman Joost, motion carried.
The Electrical Code was discussed again.
Alderman Joost moved to have the Clerk's office send copies of :the
of the Political Sign Ordinance to all candidates for City office
as soon as possible. Seconded by Ald. Narlock, motion carried.
The Transient Merchants Ordinance was discussed briefly.
• An ordinance relating to sewer service charges was discussed briefly.
Alderman Joost moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Alderman
Narlock, motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 11:05 P.M.
