• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 7, 1968
The regular meeting of the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee was
called to order at 7:03 P.M. by Chairman Wollman. Also present were
Alderman Narlock and Alderman Joost. Alderman Lentini and Alderman
Lentini of the Safety Committee were also present as was Council
President, Donald Wieselmann.
The minutes of the previous meeting held January 18, 1968, were read
and approved and will be placed on file.
Chapter 350 of the Wisconsin Statutes referring to snowmobiles was read.
Chief of Police Ervin Kraus arrived at 7:08 P.M. Snowmobiles were
then discussed at some length.
Alderman Narlock moved to recommend to the Council to amend Sec. 20.13
as follows: (e) to read, "Between the hours of 9:30 P.M. and 5:30 A.M.
and to add Subsection 6. Exceptions: The use of snowmobiles, as de-
fined by State Statutes, shall not be governed'under this section."
Seconded by Chairman Wollman. Motion carried.
• Alderman Narlock moved to recommend to the Council the adoption of
Ordinance #93 amending the Municipal Code regulating snowmobiles. The
ordinance to be the same as the State Ordinance. Seconded by Ald.
Joost. Motion carried.
Council President Wieselmann left the meeting at 7:58 P.M.
Aldermen Linck and Lentini left the meeting at 8:05 P.M.
Alderman Narlock moved to refer to the City Attorney an ordinance
regulating the possession of intoxicating liquors, wines or fermented
malt beverages by a minor. Seconded by Alderman Joost. Motion carried.
An ordinance referring to leaving keys in the ignition of an automobile
was referred to the City Attorney for proper drafting.
Alderman Joost moved to recommend to the Council the adoption of
Ordinance #91, An Ordinance Creating the Office of Municipal Justice
and Providing for the Operation and Maintenance of the Municipal
Court for the City of Muskego, Wisconsin. Seconded by Alderman Narlock,
motion carried.
•Parking of automobiles in the City was discussed briefly. The Police
Department will be asked to make a survey to determine the extent of
this problem.
Alderman Narlock moved to recommend to the Council the adoption of the
Electrical Code by amending the Municipal Code. Seconded by Alderman
Joost. Motion carried.

Open Housing was discussed again at some length. Chairman Wollman
,,will make available copies of the proposed Open Housing Ordinance to
all Aldermen.
Alderman Joost moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Alderman
Narlock,\ Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 10:20 P.M.
