• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 21, 1967
The regular meeting of the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee was called
to order by Chairman Wollman. Also present were Alderman Narlock,
Alderman Joost, Mayor Gottfried and Building Inspector Lee.
• The minutes of the meeting held on December 7, 1967, were read and
approved and will be placed on file.
The proposed sign ordinance was discussed with Building Inspector
Lee. The Building Inspector will contact the City Attorney to make
a few minor changes.
The Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee will meet with the Safety Committee
to discuss the new Electrical Code on January 4, 1968, if possible.
Ordinance #90 regarding speed limit on Mystic Dr. and Somerset Dr. was
discussed. Alderman Joost moved to recommend to the Common Council
the adoption of Ordinance #90. Seconded by Alderman Narlock, Motion
carried.
• Ordinance #89 regarding Political Signs was discussed. Alderman
Narlock moved to recommend the adoption of Ordinance #89 to the
Council. Seconded by Chairman Wollman, motion carried.

Ordinance Off regarding appointment of City Engineer was discussed
again. No decision was made at this meeting. The ordinance will be
discussed at our next meeting.
An Open Housing Ordinance for the City of Muskego was discussed.
Attorney Hippenmeyer will be contacted by Chairman Wollman to draft
an Open Housing Ordinance for review by this Committee.
Alderman Joost moved to adjourn. Seconded by Chairman Wollman. Motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 10:15 P.M.
