• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 17, 1967
The regular meeting of the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee was
called to order by Chairman Wollman at 7:30 P.M.
• Present were Chairman Wollman, Alderman Joost and Mayor Gottfried.
The minutes of the meeting held on August 3, 1967, were read. The
minutes were approved, as corrected, and placed on file.
Chairman Wollman moved to recommend adoption of Ordinance #71, regard-
ing one-way streets, to the Council. Seconded by Alderman Joost,
motion carried.
Ordinance #72 referring to the Constable was discussed. Alderman Joost
moved to recommend to the Council adoption of Ordinance #72 which
abolishes the office of Constable as of November 1, 1967. Seconded
by Chairman Wollman, motion carried.
An ordinance to amend the Zoning Ordinance, referring to gasoline
service stations, was discussed. No action was taken at this time.
• Copies of the ordinance will be mailed to all aldermen.
Charter Ordinance #12 was discussed briefly.
Ordinance #68 was discussed again at some length.
Alderman Joost moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Chairman
Wollman, motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:35 P.M.
