• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 20, 1967
•
The regular meeting of the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee was
called to order at 9:35 P.M. by Chairman Wollman. Also present
(. were Alderman Narlock, Alderman Joost and Mayor Gottfried.
The Muskego Metropolitan Uniform Building Code was discussed. Alderman
Narlock moved to recommend that the amendments as proposed by Attorney
Reilly and Building Inspector Lee be approved by the Council. These
proposed changes to pertain to: Sec. 30.03, 30.13 (2) (a), 30.49,
and creating Chapter XIII, Department of Building Supervisor. Chapter
XIII incorporates our existing Department of Building Supervisor as
passed in Ordinance #17 in 1965. Seconded by Chairman Wollman.
Motion carried.
Ordinance #66, amending Ordinance #55, was discussed briefly. Alderman
Joost moved to recommend adoption of Ordinance #66. Seconded by
Alderman Narlock. Motion carried.
Ordinance #67, referring to the Librarian's salary, as requested by
the Library Board, was discussed. Alderman Narlock moved to recommend
to the Finance Committee that Ordinance #67 be approved. Seconded by
Chairman Wollman, motion carried.
Charter Ordinance #12 was discussed. Alderman Joost moved to
recommend Sec. (2) be amended to read by Sec. 62.09 (1) Wis. Statutes."
Seconded by Ald. Narlock, motion carried.
Chairman Wollman moved to recommend to the Council adoption of
Charter Ordinance #12. Seconded by Alderman Narlock, motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 11:30 P.M.
