MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON APRIL 20, 1967
• The regular meeting of the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee was
called to order at 7:40 P.M. by Chairman Weaver. Also present were
Alderman Wollman, Alderman Joost and Mayor Gottfried.
The minutes of the previous meeting held on April 6, 1967, were read
• and approved and will be placed on file.

Approximately 22 to 30 people were present at the meeting. A letter
from Mr. Harold DeBack was read and will be placed on file. Alderman
Lentini spoke in regard to public sanitary sewers. Mr. DeBack, Mr.
Frank Narlock and Alderman Lentini spoke several times opposing the
Subdivision control ordinance. Mr. Alvin Baase, Mr. Harold Scholbe,
Mr. Joe Magarich, Mr. E. Posbrig and Mr. Chester Luedtke also took
part in the discussion. Mayor Gottfried answered several questions
in regard to land dedication, industrial development, etc. At
approximately 9:30 P.M. the people who were present to discuss the
Subdivision Control Ordinance left the meeting.
A communication from the Code, Adoption and Enforcement Committee
referring to boating and related water activities was read. Several
changes were reviewed. Alderman Wollman moved to have the water
patrol members meet with the Committee at a special meeting to be
held on April 27, 1967, 7:30 P.M. Seconded b A ,
motion carried.
Alderman Joost moved to defer discussion of the Transient Merchants
Ordinance to a later meeting due to the length of the discussion of
the Subdivision Control Ordinance. Seconded by Alderman Wollman,
motion carried.
Alderman Joost moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Alderman
Wollman, motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 10:50 P.M.
