RLO19670119MINUTES OF THE RULES, LAWS, AND ORDINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING HELD
on JANUARY 19, 1967.
• The regular meeting of the Rules, Laws and Ordinance Committee was
called to order at 7:45 P.M., by Acting Chairman Wollman. Also
present were Ald. Joost and Mayor Gottfried.
Building Inspector Lee was present to discuss the revised Plumbing
Code. Section 3.0, Permit Fees. Ald. Wollman moved to amend Sec.
3.2, F, as follows: "A deposit of $50.00 is required, all monies
not required for resurfacing street openning shall be returned upon
certification from the Building Inspector that the street has been
repaired satisfactorily". Motion seconded by Ald. Joost and
motion carried.
The minutes of the meeting held January 5, 1967 were read and
approved and placed on file.
An Ordinance Amending the Zoning Ordinance, Sec. 6.01 (2) Drainage:
A was discussed. Ald. Wollman moved to recommend to the Council
the adoption of Ordinance 59, as corrected. Motion seconded by
Ald. Joost and motion carried.
Upon request of the Muskego-Norway School Board, in a letter dated 11-24-66
that the polling place for the 6th Ward be moved to another room
in the intermediate school from the high-school and upon the advice
of Attorney Hippenmeyer, the City Clerk will notify the electorate
of the 6th Ward of the change of location.
• The Minimum Housing Code Ordinance was discussed again. This committee
felt that because the ordinance is quite long, each alderman should
have a copy. This committee also invites any alderman having quest-
ions on this ordinance to attend our next committee meeting, Feb. 8th;
1967 to ciscuss the questions before the committee takes action on
the ordinance.
Ald. Joost moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Wollman and motion
carried. Meeting adjourned at 9:25 P.M.
