MINUTES
OF MEETING HELD
NOVEMBER 17,
1966
The regular meeting of the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee was
called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman Weaver. Also present
J6 were Alderman Wollman and Alderman Joost.
The Minutes of the meeting held November 3, 1966, were approved
as read and will be placed on file.
Ordinance #54 was discussed at some length. Alderman Joost moved
that Section IV of the amended Ordinance read as follows:
Preceding the first sentence, the following sentence be inserted,
"The Office of Clerk -Comptroller, Treasurer and Assessor shall
be in the City Hall." Seconded by Chairman Weaver, motion carried
unanimously. Chairman Weaver moved that Section III which stated
that the Assessor shall keep a minimum of two (2) hours per day
regular office hours at the City Hall between the hours of 9:00 AM
and 5:00 PM, be deleted. Seconded by Alderman Wollman, motion
carried.
Chairman Weaver moved that the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee
• recommend that the Assessor's full time salary of $7800.00 plus
an additional $1200.00 for other salaries be provided for under
Ordinance #55. The Committee further recommends that the Assessor
examine, evaluate and update all existing records of property on
the Assessment roll. The motion was seconded by Alderman Wollman
and it carried unanimously.

Resolution #212 was discussed.
Places for voting were discussed and Alderman Joost will look into
the subject further.
Alderman Joost moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Alderman
Wollman and the motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 10:00 P.M.
