• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 4, 1966
The regular meeting of the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee was
called to order at 7:35 P.M.
Dresent were Chairman Weaver, Alderman Wollman, Alderman Joost and
Mayor Gottfried.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
A letter from Municipal Ordinance Service, Inc. was read. Mr. R.D.
Sundby, President of the Corporation, will meet with the Committee
at 7:00 P.M. on August 18, 1966.
Mr. Ted Mikulic spoke in favor of Ordinance #48. He left a petition
with about 50 signatures in favor of the ordinance and it will be
turned over to the Safety Committee.
Ordinance #47 was discussed briefly. Chairman Weaver, upon suggestion
of the City Attorney, moved to recommend amending Sec. 4 as follows:
"Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall upon
conviction thereof forfeit not more than $50.00 together with the
costs of prosecution, and in default of payment thereof, by imprison-
ment in the Waukesha County jail until such forfeiture and cost are
• paid, but not exceeding 30 days." Seconded by Alderman Wollman,
motion carried.
Ordinance #49, regulating speed limits on Field Dr. was discussed.
Alderman Wollman moved the Committee recommend adoption. Seconded
by Chairman Weaver, motion carried.
The Subdivision Control Ordinance was discussed at some length.
Alderman Joost moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Alderman
Wollman, motion carried. ?be meeting adjourned at 10:00 P.M.
