• The regular meeting of the Rules, Laws 8 Ordinance Committee
was called to order by Chairman Weaver at 7:38 P.M. Present
were Chairman Weaver, Ald. Wollman, Ald. Joost and Mayor Gottfried.
Ordinance #35, an Ordinance Providing for the Regulation, Control
and Licensing of public dances was discussed at great length
and referred back to the City Attorney with further suggestions.
Ordinance #39 pertaining to Parking on Bridges was discussed.
Chairman Weaver moved the committee recommend adoption by
the Council, as seconded by Ald.'Wollman, the motion carried.
Ordinance #38, as amended, was discussed. Ald. Wollman moved
the committee recommend adoption, seconded by Ald. Joost, the
motion carried.
• Chairman Weaver moved the committee have a special meeting May 26,
1966 at 7:30 P.M., seconded by Ald. Joost, the motion carried.
The draft of the political sign ordinance was not received from
the City Attorney as of this date.
Chairman Weaver will obtain more information so steps may be
taken to accomplish the Codification of Ordinances.
Background information for a Transient Salesmans Ordinance is
being studied by Ald. Wollman and Ald. Joost for a future meeting.
Chairman Weaver moved for adjournment, seconded by Ald. Wollman,
motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 10:20 P.M.
