RLO19650506• RULES, LAWS & ORDINANCES COMMITTEIE CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING THURSDAY, MAY 6, 1965, 7:40 P.M. PRESENT: Aldermen Wolf, DeAngelis, Weaver, Budish and. Attorney Hippenmeyer. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Wolf at 7:40 P.M. Is Weapon definitions described relative to General Ordinance - It was noted that requested ordinances of the communities of Mukwonago, Princeton, Oconomowoc, Spooner, New Berlin, Greenfield and Beaver Dam had been received and to be studied by the Committee. Alderman Budish questioned the reasons for contacting these communi- ties and it was explained by Chairman Wolf that a combination of agricultural, resort type, highway, population factors were being considered in comparison with the City of Muskego. Gebhardt - Basse Property zoning under discussion - Attorney Hippenmeyer gave advice to the Committee. Arrangements should be made for access road. Hiway 24 to Bay Lane be deeded to City by petitioners. Mayor Gottfried, Aldermen Hudziak, Bostater and Wieselmann joined • the discussion at 8:15 P.M. Continued conversation relative to B-2 - B-4 zoning. Chairman Wolf cautioned the Committee that we were digressing from the original purpose of the subject at hand. Alderman DeAngelis made the motion that the Gebhardt - Basse petition be sent back to the Planning & Zoning Board specifically requesting that a descriptive survey regarding the access road to Bay Lane be secured and an agreement between City and petitioner. Seconded by Alderman Weaver and motion carried. Rules, Laws, & Ordinances Committee recommends to the Council that Gebhardt - Basse petition be referred back to Planning and Zoning Commission to commit East-West and North -South roads responsibility. The Committee discussed petitioners request to make Clerk - Treasurer, etc., elective. Alderman Weaver made a motion that the Rules, Laws & Ordinances Committee recommend to the Council that we put the petitioner's request, without alteration, as a referendum at the general election April, 1966. Seconded by DeAngelis and motion carried. Various comments were expressed by visiting Aldermen regarding the • Gun Ordinance. Meeting adjourned at 9:15 P.M.
