MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 1, 1965, 7:30 P.M.
PRESENT: Aldermen Wolf, DeAngelis, and Weaver
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Wolf.
• The Committee discussed Penalty Provision of $50.00
Maximum for dog license violations as recommended by
the Finance Committee.
Questions under consideration:
$3.00 fees for destruction of a dog at ownerts
request and expense?
Can we stipulate cost of destroying dog?
Patroling of area by law enforcement officer?
Dog Ordinance, with suggested changes, to be referred
for further legal opinion.
Application forms, permits and licenses are available
• through the use of regular state forms, which shall be
obtained, making it unnecessary for the City to draw
up their own.
Additional material and information received regarding
Fire and Police Commission has been placed in file.
The proposed Fire Arms Ordinance will be a subject
handled exclusively at the April 15th meeting of the
Committee.
Curfew Ordinance was discussed and tabled for further
study.
