MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 21, 1984
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Nilsson at
6:45 P.M. Also present were Committee Members Gaetzke and
DeAngelis, Mayor Salentine, Bud Heinz and Jim Kibbe.
The Committee set two meeting dates in March - Friday,
March 2nd at 8:00 A.M. and Thursday, March 29th at 7:00 P.M.
The Committee reviewed the bids received for the Kurtze Lane
sewer project.
Ald. Gaetzke moved to accept the bid of Mainline of $340,295
with stipulation ail through #3 of Ruekert & Mielke's letter of
February 20, 1984, as follows:
1. Since no sub -contractors were listed in their
proposes form, the City should notify Mainline
that only representatives from their firm will
be allowed to work on this project (including the
electrical and fencing work at the sewage pumping
station site).
• 2. An important item, which will require close super-
vision is the restoration work for this project.
3. It is recommended that the City accept only the
base bid suppliers for the sewage pumping station
ann—tNestandby generator.
Ald. DeAngelis seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
The Committee recommended that the nonassessable costs of the
project be charged to TID #4.
The meeting adjourned at 7:12 P.M.
