• MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING HELD MARCH 31, 1983
The meeting was called to order by Acting Chairman Nilsson at 7:08 P.M.
Also present was Committee Member Tomczyk, Mayor Salentine, City Clerk
Stewart, Building Inspector Lee and Mr. Frank DeAngelis.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the assessment policy of the
Hillendale Drive Sewer Project.
The committee discussed the alternate plans and it was their decision
to use Alternate N1 which included the Krornhage and Froehlich properties,
as the basis for assessment charges for the eight property owners in-
volved. Ald. Tomczyk requested that it be noted in the minutes that
the Donald Masse property will be included in the front foot assessment,
however, because of the depth of their lot (over 700 feet), he intends
to plead a hardship for hookup purposes.
The committee discussed costs of the road restoration and whether or
not it should be assessed to the property owner or whether or not
the past policy should be followed. Ald. Tomczyk moved, seconded by
Ald. Nilsson, that the road restoration charges be non -assessable
costs and paid for by the Sewer Utility. Motion carried.
The committee will once again review the present assessment policy
at a future meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 8:00 P.M.
