• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 15, 1979
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman Dumke.
Also present was Committee Member Salentine, Mayor Gottfried
and Ald. Weed.
Mr. William Godsell, Mr. Gerald Miech, Mr. Baas and Mr. Obremski
appeared at the meeting to discuss with the committee the possib-
ility of extending sewers from the Arrington property north and
westerly to serve the Godsell, Miech and Obremski properties and to
extend sewers through an easement provided by Mr. Potrykus to the
Baas property. Considerable discussion was held relative to the
proper procedures and the estimated costs. All parties concerned
indicated a willingness to execute a waiver so that the project
would not be delayed by a public hearing. Ald. Salentine moved
to recommend to the Common Council that Ruekert & Mielke be
authorized to prepare plans and specifications. Seconded by Ald.
Dumke. Motion carried. Ald. Salentine moved to recommend to the
Common Council that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute
an easement for Lake Meadows Add. #1 which will be needed for
municipal sewer purposes.
Several residents of the Lake Denoon area discussed with the
committee the sewer usage charge which will be established for the
• Lake Denoon Sewer District. Ald. Salentine moved to recommend to
the Common Council that the sewer service charge of $96.00 per
year be established for the Lake Denoon Sewer District. Seconded
by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
Mr. Daniel Amann appeared to discuss with the committee his plans
for a parcel of land which he owns on S. Denoon Road. The
committee assured Mr. Amarn that a sufficient number of hookups
will be preserved in order to assure the connection to the district
of those parcels of land which received an assessment.
Mr. Retzlaff appeared at the meeting to discuss with the committee
his sewer assessment and requested that the assessment reflect
a recently approved certified survey map. Mayor Gottfried was
directed to review the matter.
Mayor Gottfried advised the committee that a meeting will be held
on November 7, 1979 with the Town of Norway Sewer District and
SEWRPC to discuss the possibility of changing the sewer district
boundaries of Lake Denoon. Mr. Ray Christenson suggested that Dr.
Mangiamele's report be made available to the parties involved in
the meeting.

Mr Larry Ac erman appeared at the meeting with Mr. Richard Knudsen
to further discuss the possibility of extending sewers on Hillen-
• dale Drive in order that his property (former Stephen's property)
can be served. Mr. Knudsen brought to the committee an estimated
cost of the project in the amount of $17,500 including engineering,
laterals and manholes. The committee deferred action on the matter
until its next meeting.
The committee directed Mayor Gottfried to make certain that sewers
be placed in Martin Drive during its reconstruction which will
eventually serve a portion of the Ralph Martin property.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 10:30 P.M.
