PUBLIC SEWER COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 9, 1979
The meeting was called to order at 8:10 P.M. by Chairman Dumke.
Also present was Committee Member Salentine, Aldermen Van Lanen
and Weed.
Several residents of North Shore Drive were present at the meeting
(see attached list) to express concern regarding the options available
to them for sewer connection to their homes.
The developer of Lake Meadows Add. #1 can serve the homes on the
west side of North Shore Drive from the subdivision. The city's
engineers have suggested an 8" main be installed in the middle
of North Shore Drive. If the sewers from the subdivision served
the homes on the east side of North Shore Drive private ejectors
would be required. The third alternative would be to hang the
plumbing which would reduce the cost of installation, however,
this is not feasible.
Mr. Hayden, North Shore Drive, requested Mayor Gottfried's commun-
• ication dated 1/15/79 which had been mailed to the residents of
North Shore Drive be read. Mr Marsiak asked if the letter would
be recognized and if the State would require connection to the
system if the sewer is installed in the road with a deferred
assessment.
The meeting adjourned at 9:10 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
Wayne Salentine, Sec'y.
