PSEM19770808• PUBLIC SEWER COMMITTEE'- CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 8, 1977
The meeting was called to order at 8:30 P.M. by Chairman Dumke. Also
present were Committee Member Ford, Mayor Gottfried and Ald. Wallner.
The following citizens were in attendance: Mr. Larry Schneider, Carol
Eaton, William Dulder and Mr. Ray Gray.
Mr. Larry Schneider appeared before the committee to request permission
to connect into the city's sewer system in order that he could construct
a building on a lot he owns in the City of New Berlin. The committee
noted that under an agreement with the City of New Berlin no sewer
connections other than for existing businesses and residences would be
permitted. Mr. Schneider indicated he would hold his request in abeyance
until a decision on the moratorium is made.
Mrs. Carol Eaton, owner of a parcel of land located near the intersection
of Wentland Dr. and Hillendale Dr., appeared to request sewers be extended
to her property in order that she could construct a home. The committee
reviewed for Mrs. Eaton the reasons why sewers are not presently serving
the area. They advised her that a previous request to extend sewers
up Wentland Drive had been denied.
is Mr. William Dulder, part owner of a 20-acre parcel adjacent to Bay
Lawn Subdivision, indicated he was present to gather information about
the moratorium and whether or not it would be possible to develop the
area in the near future.
Mayor Gottfried advised the committee that Mr. Jerome Mazurkiewicz's
request for legal lot status and Mr. Bud Spaight's request for a
redivision have been denied and that a sewer lateral refund should be
granted. Ald. Ford moved to recommend to the Common Council the repay-
ment.of sewer lateral cost in the amount of $225.00 for Mr. Mazurkiewicz
and $225.00 for Bud Spaight. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The committee held an extensive discussion regarding the status of the
sewer moratorium and agreed to attempt to come to some decision at its
next meeting.

discuss the status of the development.
