PSEM19770718PUBLIC SEWER COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO • MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DULY 18, 1977 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Dumke at 8-00 P.M. Also present were Ald. Dumke, Mayor Gottfried, Mr. John Mielke, Mr. Ray Gray and Mr. Martin Heise, representing American College. Mr. Mielke of the Engineering Firm of Ruekert & Mielke presented a report on the current performance of our sewage treatment plants with information on how we may increase their capacity. . Mr. Martin Heise, representing American College, appeared to present the revised sewer plan for the college. Mr. Ray Gray, representing Rite Realty, appeared to request sewers for Guernsey Meadows Addition #1 consisting of 31 lots. No action was taken because of the existing moratorium on new construction. Mayor Gottfried reported that negotiations with Viola Kurtze involving the Bass Bay Sewer Project have broken down. The committee acknowledge receipt of a communication from Ruekert & Mielke correcting the sewer assessment costs for Lot #52, Block 7, Eugene Wujcik and Lot #66, Block 8, Fred Merkt. The corrected assess- ments would be $2,450.30 for Wujcik and $2,779.94 for Merkt. Ald. Ford moved to recommend to the Common Council the adjustment in the assessment for the above properties be made. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, • motion carried. Ald. Ford moved moved to deny the request of Mr. Kenneth Vitense of Linnie Lac Place for permission to develop a vacant lot in the Linnie Lac Subdivision because of our existing agreement with the City of New Berlin regarding sewer hookups for vacant parcels. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. Ald. Ford moved to recommend that the Common Council approve a lateral cost refund in the amount of $225.00 for Lot 8, Block 8, Muskego Shores Subdivision. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. Mayor Gottfried presented some data which will help the committee to make a decision whether or not to extend the building moratorium. Correspondence was received and placed on file. The June report of the sewage treatment plant operator was received and placed on file. Ald. Ford moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald.
