PSEM19760315• PUBLIC SEWER COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 15, 1976
The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. Present were Aldermen
Colburn, Ford and Wallner and Mayor Gottfried.
Mr. Robert Kreuck appeared at the meeting regarding his petition
for sewers on Wentland Drive. The committee reviewed the topo-
graphical maps noting that residential construction on the south
side of the road would be very difficult and because of the terrain
not feasible. Ald. Ford moved to have Ruekert & Mieike investigate
the feasibility of providing sewers to Wentland Drive. Seconded by
Ald. Colburn, motion carried.
Mr. Joseph Smukowski appeared at the meeting to discuss the possibility
of the city accepting effluent from the owners of holding tanks in
the city rather than having it transported to Milwaukee County. He
pointed out that the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewage Commission is
planning to dwtge $65.00_per load after May 1st. He also indicated
• that this cost in addition to the hau.ax's charge would be prohibitive.
The committee will review the matter with Building Inspector Lee
and James Kibbe.
The Sewage Treatment Reports for the month of February, 1976, were
received and placed on file.
The city's contract with the City of New Berlin regarding the Linnie
Lac sewers will be reviewed. The committee will also review the
sewer charge for the Rosecky property.
Mr. Watson, S65 W12636 Byron Rd., will be invited to attend the next
meeting of the committee to discuss his order to connect to the city's
sewer system.
The meeting adjourned at 9:15 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
Jerome J. Gottfried,
