. MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 17, 1975.
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman Dumke. Also
present were Aldermen Schaumberg, Colburn, Wallner and Mr. Frank DeAngelis.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend to Council the refunding of money
for one sewer lateral that had been installed on an unbuildable lot.
• Seconded by Ald. Colburn, motion carried.
The minutes of the previous meeting held 3/31/75 were reviewed and
approved and placed on file.
The committee reviewed the Waukesha County Department of Health bacteria
counts. Mayor Gottfried to contact the Health Department as to the
reason the Martin Road Culvert fecal coliform count is so high.
The committee reviewed the report of the sewer plant operator and placed
same on file. The March report indicated that the flow in the north-
west district had a high of 1,200,000 gallons and a low of 438,000
gallons and the northeast district showed a high of 654,000 gallons and
a low of 245,000 gallons. The average for the northwest district was
692,000 and in the northeast district 395,000. The committee also
reviewed the audit from the DNR which indicated that the city is operating
within the limits set by state standards, with the exception of phosphate
removal.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend Council approval of the bid in the
amount of $1,378.00 from Ed Zidar for the installation of sewer hookup
at the Alexander Romanski residence at S72 W14016 Woods Road. Seconded
by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The committee discussed the installation of sewers on Lembezeder Drive.
Ald. Colburn moved to recommend Council approval of a resolution direct-
ing the Engineering Firm of Ruekert & Mielke to prepare plans and
specifications for sewer installation in Lembezeder Drive. Seconded by
Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Colburn moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:30 P.M.
