• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 31, 1975
The meeting was called to order at 7:45 P.M. by Chairman Dumke. Also
present were committee members Schaumberg and Colburn and Mayor Gottfried.
Ald. Wallner was also present.
Mr. Scott Krause and Mr. Thomas Kramer appeared at the meeting to discuss
the possible development of residential and business land in the vicinity
of the golf course (approximately 1260 units). They are interested in
installing a 500,00 gallon sewer plant at their expense. Mr. Krause
was advised to contact the DNR in an attempt to get approval of the
proposed plant.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file.
The area of the beltline freeway and the possibility of installing
sewer in the Freedom Acres Subdivision was discussed. Ald. Schaumberg
moved to recommend to Council the authorization for Ruekert & Mielke to
begin the design for sewer for those areas. Seconded by Ald. Dumke,
motion carried.
Mayor Gottfried to again send questionnaire to the property owners on
• Lembezeder Drive as to whether or not they would like sewers at this
time. Communication to include cost per foot and lateral charge.
The committee received and reviewed balance sheet and statement of
income and expenditures of sewer utility.
The following report from the Waukesha County Department of Health
containing bacteria counts of samples taken in the Linnie Lac -Little
Muskego Lake area on 2/13/75 were received:

The committee received a copy of project priority evaluation review
sheet for the City of Muskego prepared by Ruekert & Mielke for the
State of Wisconsin. The estimated cost of the interceptor project
from the county line west to the lagoons would be approximately
$4,330,000.00.
The committee is recommending that the Sewer Service Charge Ordinance
be amended to set the Theater usage charge at $54.00 per quarter, the
same as a restaurant seating at least 50 persons. The charge for the
shopping center mall would also be $54.00.
Ald. Colburn moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:15 P.M.
