PSEM19741211PUBLIC SEWER COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 11, 1974 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Dumke at 7:30 P.M. Also present were Aldermen Schaumberg, Colburn and Wallner and Mayor Gottfried. • The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed, approved and placed on file. Mr. Elmer Tinti and Richard Daeda appeared to request the development of the remaining three lots in St. Leonard's Subdivision. Mr. Carl Gratzek appeared at the meeting to discuss the legal status of Lots 3 and 4, Block 19, Jewel Crest Subdivision. It was the decision of the committee to refer the matter to City Attorney Buckley. Mr. Gratzek requested that the money for sewer assessment on Lot 4 be released. Communication received from the DNR approving sewer plans for the City Industrial Park. • Request was received from Mr. Stanley Walters to use the city sewer system to dump sewerage pumped from septic systems. Ald. Colburn moved to deny request, seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried. The committee granted permission for Mr. James Kibbe to attend classes on waste treatment beginning January 2, 1975. The committee directed that a letter be sent to residents in the "G" District who have not connected into the city sewer system along with a list of contractors who have done work in Muskego. The committee reviewed the report of the northeast treatment plant. The committee reviewed the northwest district. A discussion was held on proposed Kristin Downs Subdivision. Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of sewers to serve Kristin Downs providing plans are approved within six months and construction to begin within one year. Seconded by Ald. Colburn, motion carried. A discussion was held on Rite Realty's proposed development of the Alvin Basse property. Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend Council app- roval of sewer service for development of the Basse property providing plans are approved within six months and construction begins within one year. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. Public Works Supt. Bertram appeared at the meeting concerning a faulty sewer line in the vicinity of Lot 32 (Lynn Oak Ct.) in Parkland Sub- division. Ald. . Schaumber moved to authorize Mr. Bertram seek quotat- ions for the correction of the faulty line. Seconded by Ald. Colburn, motion carried. Mayor Gottfried to draft amendment to Resolution #220-71 regarding sewer service for small subdivisions. Ald. Colburn moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
