. MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 24, 1974
The meeting was called to order at 9:30 A.M. by Chairman Dumke.
Also present were Aldermen Schaumberg, Knudsen and vdallner.
Mr. J. LaBonte and S. Surridge appeared representing Rite Realty,
Inc. at the meeting concerning the developing of property in
Durham Meadows and Hale Park Meadows Subdivisions beyond the
65% limitation. No action was taken.
"Mr. Gerald Lee appeared at the meeting to discuss the hiring of
a parttime sewer inspector.
Mr. James Kibbe appeared at the meeting regarding the possibility
of having Sent Plumbing pick up sludge from the northeast treatment
plant and spread at the same time he deposits sewerage at that
location. No action taken.
Mr. Ray dallner appeared at the meeting requesting sewer service
for the former Loomis farm on Racine Avenue. No action taken.
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend Council approval for installation of
sewers to serve properties approximately 1800 feet west of Racine
Avenue on Highway 24. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to approve the request of the developers of
•Shagbark Subdivision to connect into the city's sewer system.
Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The committee discussed cost estimates, etc. for proposed sewer
installation in Freedom Acres and Bay Lawn Subdivisions. No action
was taken.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend to Rules, Laws & Ordinance
Committee a proposed ordinance regarding the dumping of sludge
into the city's sewer system. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
carried.
The committee discussed the possibility of sending a letter to
eight (8) residences in the "H" District and 156 in the "G" District
requesting them to connect into the municipal sewer system as soon
as possible.
The committee reviewed the preliminary assessment roll for proposed
installation of sewers in Lembezeder Drive. Property owners involved
to be invited to future meeting to discuss the matter.
The committee received a communication from Metropolitan Sewage
Commission regarding an increase in charges for their services.
The committee reviewed the monthly report from James Kibbe relative to
the northeast and northwest treatment plants.
AAld. Schaumberg moved to recommend payment to Schmitt Construction Co.
in the amount of 354.10 for repair of broken lateral in the vicinity
of Atonement Lutheran Church. Seconded,by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The committee reviewed the June report of tYB daukesha County Health
Department regarding bacteria counts of samples taken in the Linnie
Lac -Little Muskego Lake area. Roport placed on file.
ld. Schaumberg moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion

carried. The meeting adjourned at 10:30 A.M.
