MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 7, 1974
The meeting was called to order at 9:40 A.M. by Chairman Dumke. Also
• present were Aldermen Knudsen, Czarnecki and Wallner and Mayor Gottfried.
Mildred Kaminski, S69 W12956 Woods Rd., appeared at the meeting regarding
her sewer service charge. She stated that she received a sewer service
charge, however, she is not connected into the sewer. The committee deter-
mined that her service charge was in order.
Mr. Roger Johnson and Mr. Michael Jensen, representing National Exchangors,
appeared regarding their proposed Shagbark development. They requested
sanitary sewers for 11 lots. Aid. Knudsen moved, seconded by Aid. Czarnecki
to approve sewer service for 11 lots in Shagbark Subdivision. The assessment
on this property has been paid. Motion carried.
Mr. Ken Westcott, Acker Drive, appeared to request sewer service for one
additional lot over and above the 65% that has been granted him.
The committee received correspondence from Gerald Lee indicating that the
Imme building on Janesville Rd is used for cold storage only, is not occupied
and does not have water to it. After reviewing the correspondence the
committee agreed to notify the sewer utility clerk not to bill the Imme
building on Janesville Road.
The committee received correspondence from Mr. Ray D. Leary of the Metro-
politan Sewerage District, Milwaukee Co., regarding the formation of a
technical committee to assist the Sewerage Commissions and the municipalities
it serves in approaching and solving common problems. The committee will
hold further discussions on this matter at the next meeting.
The committee reviewed the December report of the monthly flow of the
northeast and northwest sewer lagoons and placed same on file.
The following correspondence was reviewed:
From Gerald Lee to Adkins Plumbing Co., dated 12/3/73, giving John Kelley,
Pioneer Drive, 30 days to install plumbing inside his dwelling.
From Gerald Lee to John Kelley, dated 12/11/73, advising him to secure a
plumbing permit immediately for his inside plumbing work and that the work
be completed within 30 days.
To Ed Zidar from Gerald Lee, dated 12/7/73, requesting him to clean lateral
installed by him.
To Mitchell Penovich, Woodland Place and to Thomas Couillard, Woodland Place,
from Wm. Robb, dated 11/20/73, requesting permission to inspect inside
plumbing.
Lo Peter Chmiel from Mayor Gottfried, dated 12/11/73, inquiring as to the
results of his claim.
The committee discussed Resolution #209-71 (limiting development to 65%).
The discussion was held because of the recent requests by developers regarding
the limitation of the 65% development on minor and major subdivisions.

The meeting adjourned at 12:10 P.M.
