PSEM19730205PUBLIC SEWER COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD ON FEBRUARY 5, 1973 • The meeting was called to order by Chairman Schaumberg at 10:30 A.M. Also present were Aldermen Knudsen and Dumke and Mayor Gottfried. Mr. Mike Belam of Relocation Realty and Mr. Al Butenhoff of Mutual Builders • appeared at the meeting to request sewer service to approximately five acres of land which they own west of Valley Drive and adjacent to the Kelly property. Mr. Ray Wallner, Agent for Muskego Industrial Park, Inc. appeared to request that they be allowed to connect into the city's municipal sewer system to serve their 98 acres west of Racine Avenue under the present zoning. Mr. Herbert C. Puetzer, representing M.C. Development Co., Inc. appeared to request to be connected into the municipal sewer system to serve the former Lazynski-Beck property. His request was based on the present zoning of R-3 which would allow 99 single family homes and using the 65% limit would add 22,522 gallons per day of sewage to the system. He further stated that the entire deferred sewer assessment of approximately $52,000.00 would be paid in full. Ald. Schaumberg moved, as seconded by Ald. Knudsen, to grant the request of Superior Excavators an extension of time on their sewer project in Hi-Y Ranches Subdivision area. Motion carried. Mayor Gottfried will send a letter along with the notice of extension of time suggesting that the roads in their project which are in deplorable condition need grading. The following correspondence was reviewed: From Mayor Gottfried directed to Michels Pipeline Construction Co., dated 1/26/73, advising them that the City of Muskego would retain $200.00 plus $105.40 to cover revenues lost to the city because of late completion of their project. From Mayor Gottfried, directed to United Sewer & Water, Inc., dated 1/30/73, regarding an agreement between the city and their representative wherein it was determined that $1,000.00 plus $1,485.20 will be paid to the city covering revenue lost as a result of late completion date of their project and the city is releasing all but $5,000.00 plus the settlement amount. From Mayor Gottfried directed to Rock Contractors, dated 1/26/73, con- firming an agreement between the city and their representative regarding • therein it was determined that the $1,000.00 plus $1,169.60 will be paid to the city to cover revenues lost as a result of late completion date of their projects and that the city is releasing all but $5,000.00 plus • the settlement amount. From Mayor Gottfried directed to the Parker Co. regarding restoration, etc. of their sewer project in the northeast district. United Sewer & Water's request for additional payment which would reduce the amount held back from $5,000.00 to $1,500.00 and $2,000.00 respectively, was deferred pending review of the area by the committee. Ald. Schaumberg moved, as seconded by Ald. Dumke,to establish the following calendar quarters for sewer billing for the northeast district and Hillendale and Hi-Y Ranches Subdivision area: Public Sewer Committee 2/5/73 • G-7 - Northeast District • Calendar Quarters Payment Date December 1 to February 28 March 1 March 1 to May 31 June 1 June 1 to August 31 September 1 September 1 to November 30 December 1 H-8 - Northwest District Hillendale Heights & Hi-Y Ranches Subdivision Area Calendar Quarters • February 1 to April 30 May 1 to July 31 • August 1 to October 31 November 1 to January 31 Motion carried. Payment Date May 1 August 1 November 1 February 1 Action on the requests of Relocation Realty, Ray Wallner and Herbert Puetzer (M.C. Development Co.) was deferred until the next meeting. Ald.
