Aid. Knudsen moved to advise the City Clerk to remove one of the lateral
assessments for the Schmidt property (Lot 6) Oak Ridge Unrecorded Subdivision.
Seconded by Aid. Schaumberg, motion carried.
Mr. Wagner on Leuhring Drive has requested that the forced hookup of his
property which was to be done by Zidar Plumbing for $2,380.00 be reconsidered
inasmuch as he has received a bid from another company for $1,350.00. It
was the opinion of the committee that since a bonafide bid was received from
Zidar Plumbing and since Mr. Wager had many months to make the necessary
hookup that his request be denied. However, Mr. Zidar was contacted and
stated that he bid the job on the basis of the need for inside plumbing
which he could not determine because he could not get into the residence.
He further stated that since there would be no inside plumbing required
We would be willing to reduce his bid to $1,350.00. The committee has
requested that Zidar Plumbing provide a wirtten statement regarding the
reduction of his bid price.
Aid. Schaumberg moved, as seconded by Aid. Dumke, to re -advertise for bids
for the remaining residences that have not connected to the city sewer
system in the 'Y' District. Motion carried.
The committee received the Engineer's Report regarding work done by the
city on Projects MSS-2-72 and MSS-2-71. The report was referred to the
City Clerk with instructions to withhold this amount from any final payments.
Aid. Knudsen reported that Hillendale Drive has been left in deplorable
condition and requested that Super Excavators be contacted regarding this
matter.

from Cathlina Construction. Motion carried.
