• MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 25, 1972
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Schaumberg at 1:45 P.M.
Also present were Aldermen Knudsen, Dumke, Mayor Gottfried, Engineer
Clark Barry, Treatment Plant Operator John Hays and Mr. Gene Allen
of the L. W. Allen Company, Madison, Wisconsin, and Mr. William Mielke.
The capabilities of the Lannon lift station was discussed.with the
following decisions being made:
1. It was determined that an auxiliary non -electrical trash
pump will be installed to cover those periods of time when
excessive rains impose undue pressure upon the station.
2. A waste collection apparatus (basket) will be installed to
protect the pumps from large foreign objects.
3. An estimate of the cost of repairing the standby pump will
be given to the committee by the Allen Company to help them
determine whether or not it should be rebuilt to provide
greater capacity.
Ald. Knudsen moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 3:00 P.M.
