PSEM19720824. PUBLIC SEWER COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD ON AUGUST 24, 1972
Chairman Schaumberg called the meeting to order at 7:20 P.M. Also
present were Aldermen Dumke and Knudsen and Mayor Gottfried.
Mr. Norman Heikkinen, W170 S7280 Meadow Drive, appeared at the meeting
requesting the removal of a sewer lateral assessment for his second
lot. The Sewer Committee will determine whether or not this property
C' is a legal lot under the Zoning Ordinance.
Mr. Ken Wescott appeared at the meeting to request sewer service for
the Otto Kurth property on Durham Drive.

Aid, Knudsen moved to have Mayor Gottfried arrange a meeting with
officials of the City of New Berlin regarding the possibility of
sewering the Linnie Lac area or to explore other methods of solving
the pollution problem coming from the area.
Aid. Schaumberg moved to eliminate sewer assessments of unbuildable
lots as determined by the Common Council. Seconded by Aid. Knudsen.
Motion carried.
Aid. Knudsen moved to grant connection to the sewer system for the
Laabs property on Hillendale Drive. Seconded by Aid. Dumke. Motion
carried.
Aid. Schaumberg moved to recommend to the Common Council that the sewer
assessment of Property Tax Key No. 2192.078, owned by Harold Straw in
the Oak Grove Subdivision, be refunded. Seconded by Aid. Knudsen, motion
carried.
Aid. Schaumberg moved to advise the Plan Commission that the Committee
would be willing to recommend to the Common Council sewer service to
the Otto Kurth property on the west side of Durham Drive.
The Sewer Committee will seek information regarding the possibility of
making its health insurance program available to those sewer inspectors
employed by the city who might wish to take advantage of it.
Aid. Ford appeared at the meeting to discuss the restoration of the
driveway of Donald Worske, S65 W18606 Agate Drive in the Jewel Crest
Subdivision, by the sewer contractor in that area. Mayor Gottfried to
contact Michels Pipeline regarding this matter.
Aid. Knudsen moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Aid. Dumke. Motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:40 P.M.
