• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 23, 1972
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Foldy at 8:10 P.M.
• Also present were Aldermen DeBack, Schaumberg and Narlock and Mayor
Gottfried.
•The request for a deferred assessment from Mr. Bodul on College Ave.
was again reviewed by the committee. The request was deferred pending
receipt of legal advice of the City Attorney.
The fd Kumm assessment on Woods Road was again reviewed. The Sewer
Committee agreed that the assessment should be based on the results
of a decision by the Council to approve the division of his parcel
into three lots. The amount of lineal footage would then be 440.77 instead
of the 465.24.
The committee reviewed the Hillendale Heights and Hi-Y Ranch sewer
installation project. The matter was referred to Ruekert & Mielke for
final plans. Ald. DeBack moved to recommend Council approval of the
preliminary resolutions for the sewering of Hillendale Heights and
Hi-Y Ranches Subdivision as well as the extension of sewers southwesterly
on Hillendale Drive and to include that section of Hillendale Drive
between Lochcrest Blvd. to Hillview Drive. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg,
motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved that there be an informational meeting for the
purpose of discussing the possibility of sewering the Bay Lawn and
Freedom Acres Subdivisions to be held on April 17, 1972, at 8:00 P.M.
in the all purpose room of the high school. Seconded by Ald. DeBack,
motion carried.
The following correspondence was reviewed:
From Ruekert & Mielke concerning Parker Construction Company's completion
date. Mayor Gottfried to contact the Parker Co.
From Clark Barry concerning Metropolitan Sewer Inspector's fees.
Two (2) zoning violations were reviewed and placed on file.
Three (3) junk car violations were reviewed and placed on file.
Ald. DeBack moved to have the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee propose
a mandatory rabies ordinance. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion
• carried.
A letter from Mayor Gottfried directed to Mr. Fred Wendt on Berger Lane
was reviewed by the committee. Chairman Foldy to meet personally with
Mr. Wendt.
Ald. DeBack moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
• The meeting adjourned at 9:55 P.M.
