MINUSES OF MEETING HELD ON JANUARY 6, 1972
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Foldy at 8:30 P.M. Also
present were Aldermen Schaumberg, DeBack, Dumke and Narlock, Mayor
Gottfried, City Attorney Buckley, Engineer Barry and Zoning Officer
Lee.
Mr. Ted Meyer, Mr. Rooney, Tim Casgar, Attorney for Acme Disposal Co.
and Mr. Carl Wauer were also in attendance at the meeting.
Ald. Foldy explained the purpose of the meeting. A discussion was
held on the status of the operation of the dump by Acme Disposal Co.
and the clarification of the city's position relating to its lease
with Mr. Carl Wauer. Ald. DeBack moved, as seconded by Ald. Schaumberg,
that the Chairman select a committee to discuss with Mr. Wauer and
the representatives of Acme the status of the landfill operation within
the city. The motion carried.
Chm.Foldy selected himself, Alderman Narlock, City Attorney Buckley
and Mavor Gottfried to serve on that Committee.
The request of Louis Sablich for payment by the city for electricity
serving a street light that he would place at the end of Woodland Ct.
was referred to the Public Safety Committee.
The meeting adjourned at 10:10 P.M.
