• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 15, 1971
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Foldy at 7:10 P.M. Also
present were Alderman Schaumberg, Mayor Gottfried and Consulting Engineer
John Mielke.
• The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file.
The committee concurred with Field Engineer's suggestion that the
sewer inspector crew be reduced by two.
A letter was read claiming damage by Rock Contractors to the driveway
and fence of the Ralph Schwartz property located on Camilla Ct. Mayor
Gottfried to correspond with Rock Contractors.
Communication was received regarding damage to culvert and drain pipe
on the James Marchese property, Brentwood Drive. Mayor Gottfried to
correspond with United Pipeline.
The Committee discussed with Mr. Mielke Ryan Construction Company's
failure to meet contract deadline date on Durham Drive. Mayor Gottfried
• to notify their Bonding Company that the city is imposing liquidating
damages.
Chairman Foldy requested Mr. Mielke to look at the pumping station near
the Louis Sablich property on Woodland Ct.
Mr.. Mielke to discuss with Andrew Egofski regarding a price quoted for
the well at the northeast treatment plant.
A meeting will be held on November 22, 1971, at 9:30 S.M. at SEWERPC
regarding the possibility of a joint venture with City of Franklin for
interim hook-up to Metropolitan sewers.
The committee agreed that the Class III Operator for the sewer treatment
plants should begin familiarizing himself with the northeast plant while
it is being constructed and also the northwest plant as recommended by
Mr. Mielke.
The proposed Lake Denoon Sewer Project was discussed. It is expected
that the Town of Norway will be bidding their project in January, 1972.
The committee decided that the request of Douglas Mc Grady to consider
• his sewer assessment on the corner lot basis be denied.
Mr. Donald Axtmann will be invited to the next Sewer/Welfare Committee
meeting to discuss his request regarding the naming of one of the islands
in Little Muskego Lake.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Foldy, motion carried.
