SPECIAL SEWER COMMITTEE MEETING - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING HELD MARCH 31, 1971
The meeting was called to order at 4:00 P.M.
Present were Mayor Gottfried, Aldermen Wollman, Foldy, Dwyer and
Burgermeister, City Engineer Barry and Mr. John Mielke of Ruekert
& Mielke.
A letter was received from Parker Construction Co. advising that
they had erred in their computations in their bid for Sewer Project
MSS-11-71 therefore requesting that their bid be withdrawn. Ald.
Burgermeister moved to rebid Project MSS-11-71 if the bid cannot be
awarded to the second lowest bidder. Final determination to be
based upon advice of City Attorney. Seconded by Ald. Wollman. Motion
carried.
Ald. Wollman moved to award the following contracts:

Seconded by Ald. Burgermeister. Motion carried. Mr. Mielke reviewed
the estimates and actual bids with the Committee. The matter was dis-
cussed at length.
Ald. Burgermeister moved to recommend the letting of bids for the
filtration plant in the Northeast District, pending authority by E.P.A.
and the recommendation of Mr. John Mielke, Consulting Engineer. Sec-
onded by Wollman. Motion carried.
It was the unanimous decision of the Committee to refund monies to
Parker Construction Co. due to their withdrawal of bid on Project MSS-11-71
Ald. Burgermeister moved to adjourn. Seconded by Wollman. Motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 5:00 P.M.
