PUBLIC SEWER MEETING - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 7, 1970
The meeting was called to order at 4:00 P.M. Present were Mayor Gottfried,
Aldermen Wollman and Burgermeister and Building Inspector Lee.
The minutes of meeting held on September 16, 1970, were reviewed and placed
on file.
Mr. E. Zellman of National Clay Pipe Institute presented facts and figures
regarding materials used in sewers.
Wollman moved that the below named persons be hired as sewer inspectors
at the rate of $3.50 per hour for a probationary period of six weeks.
Seconded by Burgermeister. Motion carried.

Wollman moved that the quotation submitted by Lindner Const. Co. for
sewer work at W173 W7826 Westwood Dr. be accepted. Seconded by Burger-
meister, motion carried.
Mr. L. Differt of S70 W18778 Gold Dr. appeared regarding his sewer
assessment -- his rerquest denied.
The bids referred to in the minutes of September 16, 1970, regarding
city hook-ups of sewer laterals will be opened at 4:00 P.M. on 10/21/70.
Mr. W. Jirik of S67 W18632 Emerald Dr. appeared regarding the prepayment
of his assessment # F165 and F166. No action taken.
Wollman moved that the below listed laterals be waived. Seconded by
Burgermeister. Motion carried.

Letter from Attorney- Buckley, dated 9/29/70, regarding installation of sewer
laterals in roads was read and placed on file.
Letter from David R. Beierle, dated 9/22/70, referring to installation of
hook-up to sewers was read and placed on file.
Correspondence referring to liens against Ramplex were received and
referred to the City Clerk for action. They were as follows:
Waukesha Cement Tile in the amount of $139.32.
Park View Sand & Gravel, Inc. in the amount of $14,578.88

Letter from Metropolitan Sewage Commission, City of Muskego, dated
10/1/70, regarding the installation of manholes by Sewer Contractor
Ramplex, was read and referred to Engineers Ruekert & Mielke for action.
Burgermeister moved that the sub -committee place ads in papers for
additional sewer inspectors. Seconded by Wollman. Motion carried.
Burgermeister moved that in future sewer projects that a 4" lateral
from main to lot line only be used in lieu of present sizes being
used. Seconded by Wollman. Motion carried. Information referred to
Engineers Ruekert & Mielke.
Burgermeister moved to adjourn. Seconded by Wollman. Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 5:40 P.M.
