• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 5, 1970
The meeting was called to order at 7:05 P.M. Present were Mayor
Gottfried, Aldermen Sapp, Wollman and Burgermeister and Building
Inspector Lee.
The minutes of the meeting held on July 20, 1970, were reviewed
and placed on file.
Mr. C. Young, S68 W16961 Southern Heights Drive,appeared before the
Committee relating to additional time to hook up his lateral due to
just purchasing the property. Ald. Wollman moved that he may have
60 days to complete his hook-up. Seconded by Ald. Burgermeister.
Motion carried.
The assessment of Marcella Hansen, W183 S6495 Jewel Crest Drive,
was discussed. Ald. Sapp moved to sustain sewer assessment based
on the fact that it is not a corner lot. Seconded by Ald. Burger-
meister. Ald. Wollman moved to defer action until a written statement
can be received from the Engineering Firm of Ruekert & Mielke regard-
ing this assessment. Seconded by Ald. Burgermeister. Motion carried.
Mr. Jerry Brad, S65 W18422 Ruby Dr., appeared regarding his sewer
assessment, #266, Lots 63 and 64, Blk. 20, Jewel Crest Subdivision.
Ald. Burgermeister moved to change his assessment from the policy
of a corner lot to frontage only on Ruby Drive. Seconded by Ald.
Wollman. Motion carried.

The meeting recessed at 7:50 P.M. and reconvened at 7:55 P.M.
The request of Mr. H. Bennett on Garnet Drive was discussed and his
request for re-evaluation of sewer assessment was denied.
John Kellen, F. Lufkin and F. Harding regarding the problem of
providing public sewers to property was discussed and all actions
deferred.
Letter from Engineering Firm of Ruekert & Mielke, dated July 28, 1970,
regarding sewer service to the island owned by Mr. Otto was read and
placed on file.
Letter from West Allis Savings and Loan, dated July 30, 1970, was
read and action was deferred until Fire Chief Ludwig can be contacted
and a report received from him.
• Ald. Sapp moved that the removal of one (1) lateral of two (2) planned
laterals of Lot 22, Blk 2, Bay Shore Estates, on the Ed. Mastrostefano
be approved. Seconded by Ald. Wollman. Motion carried.
Ald. Burgermeister moved fhht the assessment rolls be changed by the
removal of one (1) lateral from Lots 39 and 40, Kingston Subdivision #1,
of the Lydia Wauer property, as only one lateral was installed on Lot 40.
• Seconded by Ald. Sapp. Motion carried.
Ald. Sapp moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald.
The meeting adjourned at 8:36 P.M.
