• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 20, 1970
Present were Mayor Gottfried, Aldermen Wollman, Burgermeister and
Dwyer and Building Inspector Lee
Minutes of meeting held on July 6, 1970 were reviewed and placed on
file.
tThe following persons appeared at the meeting regarding their sewer
assessment or problem.
Spencer McElroy, W180 S6583 Hardtke Dr, regarding laterals and assessment.
Leon Malecki, Assessment #459, regarding laterals and assessment.
Donald Laabs, W195 S7130 Hillendale Dr., regarding lateral and assessment.
Marcella Hansen, W183 S6495 Jewel Crest Dr., regarding assessment.
Ed Frami, W184 S6595 Jewel Crest Dr., regarding assessment.
John Victor, S63 W18359 College Ave., regarding Assessment #592,
Ald. Wollman moved for the removal of two (2) of the three (3) planned
laterals and to consider total ownership as a corner lot be granted,
subject to the combining by deed or covenant to single ownership of
the Spencer McElroy assessment at W180 S6583 Hardtke Dr. Seconded
by Ald. Burgermeister, motion carried.
Ald. Burgermeister moved to remove one (1) of two (2) planned laterals
of Lots 1 and 2. Blk. 9 Assessment #459 and to consider total ownership
as a corner lot be granted, subject to a combining by deed of covenant
to one parcel, and assessment to be made on corner lot policy. Seconded
by Ald. Wollman. Motion carried.
Ald. Burgermeister moved that the Donald Laabs assessment, W195 S7130
Hillendale Dr, remain as is per the assessment roll. Seconded by Ald.
Wollman. Motion carried.
The Committee decided to defer any further action on the Marcella Hansen
property at W183 S6495 Jewel Crest Dr, until the Committee could view
the property.
Ald. Burgermeister moved that the Edwin Frami property at W184 S6595
Jewel Crest Dr. hook-up be made and serviced from Jewel Crest Dr. in
lieu of Ruby Drive and Assessment #234 be changed accordingly. Seconded
by Ald. Wollman. Motion carried.
It was the Committee's decision that development was possible of the
• John Victor property at S63 W18359 College Ave., and that Assessment
#592 would remain as is.
Mr. Ed Zidar, Sewer and Plumbing Contract, appeared at the meeting
with reference to sewer pipe connections. His request was referred to
the Building and Plumbing Inspector.
A letter from the Sewerage Commission, City of Milwaukee, dated
June 20, 1970, referring to sewer inspection, was read and placed on
file.
A letter from the Department of Natural Resources, dated July 13, 1970,
referring to the useage of P.V.C. pipe was read and placed on file.
Report of the Engineering Firm of Ruekert & Mielke, dated July 1, 1970,
referring to the sewerage flow for the month of May and June, 1970,
was read and placed on file.

Ald. Wollman moved that the A. Funk property and H. Kitzki property
as were noted as not hooking up to the sewers in the report of July 6,
1970, be considered as summer cottages and, therefore, only a standby
charge be assessed against these properties. Seconded by Ald. Burger-
meister. Motion carried.
Ald. Burgermeister moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Ald.
Wollman. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 10:59 P.M.
