file.
Mr. J. Bellile of S76 W20251 Sunnyhill Dr., appeared at the meeting and
requested information as to whether or not sewers were going to be
installed in the Hillendale Heights Subdivision with the next increment
of sewer proposals. Mr Otto commented that it was feasible and his plans
would include them.
Mr. Ray Wallner appeared regarding a letter from West Allis Savings &
Loan in regard to properties located at S76 W18149 Janesville Road and
S76 W18191 Janesville Road. No decision was made at this time regarding
wet hook-up and installation of laterals to property,
•Mr. William Reeder appeared with reference to assessments to odd shaped
lots. A lengthy discussion took place in regard to the present formula
being used and Mr. Reeder's proposal. A test case was suggested by Ald.
Narlock using the old formula and Mr. Reeder's formula in a few given
areas where such problems do exist in order to better study Mr. Reeder's
proposal.
Mr. Otto presented the design for the next phase of the sewer program
and asked for comments in certain areas as they explained problems that
had developed.
1. It was decided that the Nike site on Martin Drive would be serviced
from the westerly portion of Martin Drive with the shortest possible
route to the site in order to service them.
2. Problems of odd shaped lots were discussed and it was decided that
the existing formula would be used regarding Island Drive and at the
end of Garnet Drive.
3. On a lot that is three sided, the total of the longest side and the
shortest side of the lot would be used, then dividing the total by
two in order to establish the frontage for the assessment.
4. On a two sided lot, one now being sewered in the present project
and the other not to be sewered until a later date, the total of
both sides divided by two would be used to establish the frontage
for the assessment.
5. A further study will be made of the proposed pumping station in the
Jewel Crest area, possibly relocating same off Silver Drive on the
Jensen Park Recreation area property instead of on the City property
on Ruby Drive at the church.
• 6. Due to costs not being feasible at this time, Hi-Y Ranches Subdivision
would not be serviced by this project.
7. A study will be made as to the number of properties that will be
serviced on College Ave. west of its intersection at Martin Dr.
8. The installation of sewers on the Lassa property was discussed and
it was decided that a further study should be made as to exact
location of this main from Bay Shore Drive across the Lassa property
and then extending towards the lake until it meets with the service
road carrying the main along the lake front to Wentland Drive.
9. It was decided that no laterals would be extended to any lake front
parks and that,Jensen Park would be serviced by one lateral only.
Ald. Wollman moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Sapp,
