• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 13, 1967
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Weaver at 3:40 P.M.
Present were Chm. Weaver, Ald. Wollman, Ald. Weaver and Mayor Gottfried.
Minutes of the last meeting held February 13, 1967, were read and
approved.
• A discussion took place in regard to the proposed sewer project in
the northeast section of Muskego.
Ald. Wollman moved to authorize the firm of Ruekert & Mielke to design
a sanitary sewer system to serve the area, treatment to be provided
by a high class activated sludge plant with disinfection of its
effluent or with disposal of the effluent by a ridge and furrow
system in an area having an absorbent soil. This plan to be submitted
to the City of Franklin, The Metropolitan Sewerage Commission and the
State Department of Resource Development. Seconded by Alderman Weaver.
The motion carried unanimously.
The discussion then turned to the sewer project which will serve the
•Muskego Center area and the stabilization pond to be located at the
intersection of Woods Road and Lannon Drive. The Mayor informed the
Committee that he had received a telephone call from Mr. Andrew Damon
of the Dept. of Resource Development informing him that the Town of
Norway is willing to let the City of Muskego go ahead with the project
with the understanding that certain modification would be made to the
stabilization ponds.
Easements for sewer interceptors have have been prepared and will be
submitted to the owners involved for their approval.
Alderman Budish moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Alderman
Wollman. The meeting adjourned at 4:30 P.M.
