MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 17, 1987
The meeting was called to order at 8:10 P.M. by Chairman Hilt.
Also present were Committee Members Sanders and Patterson, and
Mayor Salentine.
The Committee reviewed punch list, as completed by the City
Engineers on the project, which was submitted to the water
contractor, along with the cost over -runs for the project.
The status of Guernsey Meadows & Kristin Downs connection to the
Water Utility were reviewed. The City Attorney has received all
of the necessary paperwork from the Guernsey Meadows Association,
Auditors and City Engineer and the agreement is under review.
Both Subdivisions are planned to be part of the Water Utility by
the end of the year.
The Committee discussed the problem that the Water Utility
Operator is experiencing in order to place the meters in the
Industrial Park and it was determined that the City will supply
and install the proper adapters so that the correct sized meters
can be installed. It was also noted that in several instances
is the
shut-off boxes cannot be located and the Committee felt that
the shut-off boxes are the responsibility of the property owners
to locate.

The lateral assessment for the Yvonne Young property was
discussed and it was determined that she is to be sent
notification of her lateral assessment.
Mayor Salentine reported on the meeting with Attorney Molter,
Robert Klenz, E. J. Salentine and Pat McAdams to discuss the
water assessments on their property. The property owners were
advised that their assessment was correct and payable as per the
conditions of the final resolution.
The Committee reviewed correspondence from City Engineer
regarding need to purchase chlorine feed pump for Well House on
Racine Avenue. Ald. Sanders moved to approve purchase in the
amount of $415.20. Seconded by Ald. Patterson, motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 8:40 P.M.
