MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 9, 1987
• The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Chairman Hilt.
Also present were Committee Member Sanders, Mayor Salentine and
those per the attached list. Ald. Patterson was absent.
The Committee reviewed status of the water projects as follows:
MW-1-86 & MW-2-87 - Lowering of water main on Crowbar
as been comp eted. All restoration will be complete by
August 1, 1987.
MW-3-87, MW-4-87 & MW-5-87 - MW-3-87 is behind schedule
in restoration. Water ervice installation is 75% complete
and should be completed in the next two weeks. Restoration
will start with the completion of the water service
installation. MW-4-87 & MW-5-87 Complete except for
restoration.
Mr. Roland Linck, S73 W16582 Janesville Road, appeared before the
Committee with the following complaints:
1. Replacing concrete curbs.
2. Damaged culverts

Shrubs
destroyed and have not
been replaced
The Committee determined that the Engineers will be contacted to
work with the Contractor to remedy the above problems.
The Committee reviewed restoration of landscaping on Janesville
Road for St. Francis Savings & Loan, Value Village and Sentry
Foods Store. The Contractor will work with the above businesses
to come to an agreeable solution.
The Committee reviewed impact of Assessment Resolution for MW-1-
87 & MW-2-87 to concur with provisions offered for MW-3-76, MW-4-
87 and MW-5-87 Water Projects.
The Committee reviewed the status of the Guernsey Meadows
Subdivison connecting to the Utility. The contractor has
completed installing the "T" and Valve. The City Attorney is
securing information necessary to formulate final agreement.
The Committee reviewed the possible connection of the Kristin
Downs Subdivision to the Utility. The Chairman of the Homeowners
Association has contaced the City to inform them that a Letter Of
Intent signed by all the Officers should be forthcoming shortly.

Mr. Greg Lockhart of Donohue & Associates presented a proposed
addition to the Lake Brittany Estates Water Trust for the
proposed Lake Brittany Estates Addn. 1. He informed the
Committee that the plan has already been submitted to the City
Engineers. Ald. Hilt moved to approve the addition. Seconded by
Ald. Sanders, motion carried.
Neptune water meters have not arrived as yet and the Engineers
are checking into other resources.
The Committee discussed well tests for properties who do not hook
up to the water system. It was determined that if a property is
not hooked up within the first five months, that a test of the
water will be done. Mr. Fred Ash, Cullen -Ash Lab, will be
contacted to provide the above service.
The Committee reviewed amendments to MW-3-87 Assessment Roll as
follows:
Tax Key 2196.972 - John Blasius - addition of additional
2" water service of $1,039.50
Tax Key 2195.978 - Robert & M. Severson - Front Foot
Assessment reduced from 155.40 to 85.8
Ald. Hilt moved to recommend the above amendments. Seconded by
• Ald. Sanders, motion carried.
