MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 14, 1987
The meeting was called to order at 8:15 P.M. by Chairman Hilt.
Also present were Committee Member Patterson, Mayor Salentine and
Gregory Boehm. Ald. Sanders was absent.
The Committee reviewed the status of all Water Projects. It was
noted that a property owner on Janesville Court questioned the
position of the fire hydrant on Janesville Court as the Committee
had previous determined that the hydrant would be put on
Janesville Road. The City Engineers will be contacted to clarify
this situation.
The Committee reviewed request of Mr. Gregory Boehm (Meadow Green
Subdivision) to privately install the water laterals to his
Subdivision. The Committee determined that when the bid was
awarded it was based on total project at fixed lateral cost.
Ald. Patterson moved to deny request. Seconded by Ald. Hilt,
motion carried.
Ald. Patterson moved to recommend the following changes to the
MW3-871 MW4-87 and MW5-87 Assessment Rolls. Seconded by Ald.
Hilt, motion carried.

The Committee reviewed letter received from the Guernsey Meadows
Homeowners Association stating their interest in becoming a part
of the [dater Utility if the valuation of their system meets or
exceeds the sum of WCA charges and other charges for their
subdivision. Ald. Patterson moved to direct the City Engineers
to perform the necessary tests to determine valuation of the
system. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried. Ald. Hilt moved
to direct the City Clerk to contact the Kristin Downs Homeowners
• Association to inquire if they are interested in becoming a part
of the Water Utility with the same terms as given to the Guernsey
Meadows Subdivision.
The Committee reviewed correspondence from the Clerk's Office
listing various options available to the City for testing well
water. The Committee requested that Mr. Fred Ash of Brookfield
be invited to the June Committee meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 8:10 P.M.
