DeAngelis and those per the attached Patterson was absent. Chairman Hilt. Salentine, Ald. list. Ald. The Committee discussed the status of the water projects. Mr. Gregory Boehm discussed the proposed water extension on Lannon Drive from Janesville Road to Woods Road. A decision is pending from the City Engineers. Supt. Bertram reviewed the settlement problem on the presure tank pier in Racine Avenue pumphouse and stated that it is his intention to raise the water tank to its original position in the near future. He does not feel that we are in any immediate danger. This condition has existed for some time and he will continue to monitor and keep the Committee informed. The Committee adopted Mayor Salentine's recommendation clarifying the controlled access assessment on the 400 ft. that is being severed from the Scholbe property as an intended land sale to the County Park. This assessment would remain a controlled access assessment, meaning that the seller would not pay and the County would not be liable for its payment unless the improvement is used. This improvement would be either for a building served by water or as developed park property at the time the County Park connects to the water system. The temporary rate structure for water that was supplied by the Public Service Commission was reviewed and placed on file. The Engineer's recommendation on the bids submitted for water meters were not available and the Committee recommended the Finance Committee review at their meeting on Tuesday, January 13, 1987. It informed the Committee that at the November 13, 1986 meeting Mr. Roland Link raised a question as to whether two water meters could be installed on one lateral to service a home and a business. He informed the Committee that this can be accomplished and he is sure that some buildings in the Industrial Park have more than one meter per lateral. The meeting adjourned at 7:45 P.M.
