MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 19, 1986
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman Hilt.
Also present were Committee Members Patterson and Dumke, Mayor
Salentine, Ald. DeAngelis, Financial Consultant Seegar Swanson
and those per the attached list.
Chairman Hilt gave a synopsis of the intended Highway 24 from the
Industrial Park to Bay Lane water project.
Financial Consultant Seegar Swanson explained the water rates as
set by the Public Service Commission and answered questions.
The Committee reviewed the City Engineer's report on the
feasibility of supplying water service to the petitioners on
Hillendale and the Committee deferred action.
Financial Consultant Seegar Swanson reviewed variables on
establishing a deferred assessment policy on large parcels of
land. Aid. Patterson moved to defer action and requested that
the sewer assessment policy be reviewed at the next meeting to
determined it's applicability.
• The Committee reviewed the proposed assessment area and
recommended that the assessment district be established as
presented.
The Committee reviewed the results of the survey for the water
main extension from the Industrial Park to Crowbar Drive.
Mayor Salentine gave an update on the painting of the water
tower.
The meeting adjourned at 9:40 P.M.
